French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment 

INRAE is France’s national research institute for agriculture, food, and the environment. Through its Gotheron Experimental Unit, INRAE specializes in fruit-based agroforestry systems, sustainability assessment, and environmental impact analysis. It brings advanced tools for life cycle assessment and co-design methodologies, along with long-term experimental orchards that serve as living labs for agroforestry innovation.

Role in the Project
INRAE provides expertise in environmental impact assessment and fruit-based agroforestry:

Contributes to WP3, by monitoring soil health, carbon sequestration, and agronomic performance.
Participates in WP4, by co-leading the WEFE nexus analysis and life cycle assessments.
Supports WP5, by developing dissemination tools and evaluation methodologies.
