FiBL France is an independent research institute dedicated to organic farming, located in southeastern France. It is part of the FiBL Group, based in Switzerland, and which fosters research, education and policy recommendations across Europe. FiBL France combines scientific research with strong connections to farmer networks and has extensive experience in participatory activities, training, and the development of outreach materials.
Role in the Project
FiBL France brings expertise in fruit tree agroforestry and leads field on-farm experimentation in southeastern France:
Contributes to WP3, by implementing and monitoring successional and syntropic agroforestry systems.
Supports WP1, through documentation of traditional and innovative agroforestry techniques.
Participates in WP2, by developing a MAP and engaging farmers and advisors.
Engages in WP5, by producing dissemination materials and organizing participatory events.
